Announcing the 3rd annual TTS Latin America.

The TTS Global Initiative is pleased to announce the 3rd annual TTS Latin America.
Following successful editions in Medellín and Miami, this year’s TTS Latin America moves to the Southern end of the continent and will take place on 3 and 4 October in Santiago de Chile.
Organized by the TTS Global Initiative and our Chilean Host Partners, the Universidad de los Andes and their Dirección de Innovación, Oficina de Transferencia Tecnología, CORFO (Chilean Economic Development Agency), and the three Chilean technology transfer HUBs:

Who will be there? The innovation, technology transfer and spinout teams from the 3 Chilean technology transfer hubs and all of the top Chilean research institutes and universities will come together with their peers from across the key biotech innovation markets in Latin America and leading international technology transfer experts, entrepreneurs, industry partners and investors from the USA, Europe and Latin America.

The TTS Latin America will continue its mission of bringing together Latin America’s leading university and institute technology transfer and innovation offices, serial entrepreneurs, start-ups spin-outs, funding bodies, government agencies and other key innovation stakeholders, and the TTS Global Initiative’s mission of connecting them with big pharma, industry, leading investors, seasoned serial entrepreneurs and managers, leading intellectual property, patent and legal experts, and key US and international tech transfer offices, universities, institutions, funds and companies centers interested both to share their expertise and to collaborate with the top institutions and companies in Latin America.
The 2016 and 2017 editions brought together delegations of senior representatives from the USA, Chile, Mexico, Colombia, Panama, Puerto Rico and Argentina and this year’s edition will see a larger and more international event. Capacity is limited to 200 and the TTS is expected to be over-subscribed.
With a decade long track record as the key multi-stakeholder biotech and life sciences sector innovation platform in Europe and the USA, the TTS Global Initiative serves the early-stage biotech transfer, innovation, entrepreneur, start-up/spin-out communities by providing them direct access to high level leaders and decision makers from biotech, pharma, industry and venture capital, and connecting them with the leading experts world-wide in technology transfer, licensing, partnering, entrepreneurship, business development, finance and intellectual property. Providing an unmatched open an interactive format designed to ensure open exchange of information, best practices and experience, discussion of the real issues and challenges under the Chatham House rule, and 1.5 days of sustained, high level discussion, debate, networking and business development with all participants together in one large, round-table style interactive discussion with leading experts and speakers.
