The TTS Global Initiative is pleased to announce the the 2nd annual TTS Latin America will take place on 28 November at the Lois Pope LIFE Center at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.
New this year will be a specific and deep focus on building relations between leading university and institute technology transfer and innovation offices an start-up and spin-out biotech and health from across the key markets of Latin America, with big pharma, large biotech, leading investors, seasoned serial entrepreneurs and managers, leading intellectual property, patent and legal experts, and key US and international tech transfer offices, universities, institutions, funds and companies centers interested both to share their expertise and to collaborate with the top institutions and companies from Latin America.
Following last year’s successful pilot summit in Medellín, Colombia, this 2nd annual edition will go further in bringing together a select group of the leading early-stage biotech innovation stakeholders from all of the key biotech innovation countries and regions in Latin America.
With a decade long track record as the key multi-stakeholder biotech sector innovation platform in Europe and the USA, the TTS Global Initiative serves the early-stage biotech transfer, innovation, entrepreneur, start-up/spin-out communities by providing them direct access to high level leaders and decision makers from biotech, pharma, and venture capital, and connecting them with the leading experts world-wide in technology transfer, licensing, partnering, entrepreneurship, business development, finance and intellectual property.
The 2017 edition will, in addition to the usual exchange of expertise, human capital development, networking and business development, focus squarely on building connections that lead to true collaborations between the top institutions and early-stage biotech companies in Latin America, and leading US and European TTOs, institutions, investors, entrepreneurs, pharma, large biotech and industry.
Unlike larger commercial events focused on selling exhibitions and presentations, the TTS is purpose designed to support the early-stage innovation stakeholders while also providing outstanding value for late stage actors such as national and big pharma, large biotech, early-stage and late stage investors, public health systems, patient organizations, and more.
Providing an unmatched open an interactive format designed to ensure open exchange of information, best practices and experience, discussion of the real issues and challenges under the Chatham House rule, and two days of sustained, high level discussion, debate, networking and business development with al participants together in one large, round-table style interactive discussion with leading experts and speakers.
